This is a nice escape from the worlds problems and reconnect to ancient salmon habitat. This site is being investigated for restoration potential to increase habitat complexity and diversity.
Clatskanie Flats, Columbia River Estuary
A significant portion of the watersheds are part of the Columbia river estuary ecosystem. Sloughs, mid-channel islands, tidal wetlands, and vibrant wildlife form an important anchor. Footage was taken during low, spring tides where the entire estuary habitat gradient is in full view.
